British Bluesman Matt Schofield is now firmly established as the freshest and most exciting blues guitarist to have emerged on the world scene for many years. He is rated in the top ten British blues guitarists of all time (Guitar & Bass Magazine) putting him in the company of such iconic names as Eric Clapton and Peter Green.

Schofield‘s latest album Anything But Time is produced by John Porter, legendary for his productions of Buddy Guy, BB King, Taj Mahal, Keb Mo, Santana and no less than 10 Grammy winning albums.

In his relatively short career (he is just 32), Schofield’s prowess as a guitarist (and singer) has taken his band to 22 countries and brought him high praise in the Penguin Book of Blues Recordings as one of only two living British artists in recording history to gain a maximum four-star rating. For the past two years he has toured extensively in the USA and Canada including a TV-filmed appearance at the Telluride Blues festival and headlining at the T-Bone Walker festival in Texas.

Schofield‘s powerful mix of Blues, rock and New Orleans funk is unlike anything else on the block. His band comprises long-term compatriot Jonny Henderson (Hammond organ & left-hand bass) and American Kevin Hayes on drums, who has a long list of touring and recording credits including Robert Cray, Johh Lee Hooker, BB King, Albert Collins and Van Morrison.
