Visitors can find out more about their ancestors guided by over 200 exhibitors specialising in tracing family history. 2012 will see the addition of numerous new interactive features along with old favourites such as the Military Pavilion and Society of Genealogists' workshop programme which will cover everything from using census data to researching in different regions or countries.

Featuring more exciting ways to look deeper into your ancestry than ever before, Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE 2012 can be enjoyed by everyone - from absolute beginners to seasoned researchers. Experts will be available offering advice from identifying mystery photos to finding military ancestors whilst family history societies from around the UK will be on hand to offer their regional expertise.

BBC1’s recent series of Who Do You Think You Are? has featured a variety of celebrities looking into their family history and this year’s live show will play host to some of these famous faces. The first confirmed celebrity is Larry Lamb, who will be talking about his experience of filming to BBC TV regular Tessa Dunlop in the Celebrity Theatre. Established favourite Eric Knowles will be the on-site Heirloom Detective dating antiques in the Photography Gallery.

They will be joined by more famous names to be announced closer to the opening of the show.
