Featuring new films of 30 mins or less, the Swedenborg Short Film Festival will take place in Swedenborg Hall, ‘one of London’s most atmospheric venues’. The festival will also feature a special screening of KILLING TIME by artist Bridget Smith, plus CAROUSEL, an installation piece by Paul O'Kane. Refreshments will be served.

The heart of the festival is to showcase the latest new and established talent. Submissions were invited on a variety of themes and genres, with priority given to themes encountered in the work of scientist, philosopher, radical theologian and mystic Emanuel Swedenborg (1688 - 1772). Selected submissions will be screened to a public audience at Swedenborg Hall; at the closing of the festival an award will be given for Best Film. The expert judging panel features curator ROSIE COOPER + art critic and poet IAN HUNT.
