Pianist/Composer Evelina De Lain Performs "The Girl With The Flaxen Hair. Continued..." feat. Tony Kofi on soprano saxophone

Merging classical, contemporary and jazz, Evelina De Lain returns to Schott once again with a piano recital and her debut album "The Girl With the Flaxen Hair. Continued..." (2009) featuring Tony Kofi on soprano saxophone and Katya Lazareva on viola.

After successful American tour (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Juneau), an accomplished composer, pianist and improviser Evelina De Lain (who has successfully performed for the likes of Tony Bennett, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Prince Charles and many others) will play this exclusive concert in London.

The first part of the programme features a selection of pieces by a wide variety of classical composers including Bach, Debussy, Chopin and Satie. The second part features Evelina's album written in contemporary classical and jazz styles.

Tony Kofi on soprano sax adds a complelety new dimension to Evelina's compositions.

Katya Lazareva

After successfully graduating from Minsk Conservatory, Katya Lazareva plays with the State chamber orchestra of the Belarus Republic and several chamber ensembles and orchestras.
In 2010 she entered the Guildhall School as a postgraduate on a full scholarship.
Studied from Yuri Bashmet as well.
