Snowtown screening and Q&A with Daniel Henshall

Snowtown is the critically acclaimed debut film from director Justin Kurzel that that documents the true story of one of Australia's most notorious serial killers.

Daniel Henshall gives one of the most chilling performances of the year with his portrayal of John Bunting, famed in Australia for being the ring leader of four convicted serial killers and orchestrating the murders of eleven people.

He will be at the Hackney Picturehouse this Saturday for an exclusive Q&A after a screening of the film.

Jamie, an impressionable 16-year-old, forms a friendship with his mother’s new boyfriend, unaware that John Bunting would become known as one of Australia’s most notorious serial killers. A remarkably assured feature debut by Justin Kurtzel, Snowtown attempts to understand the backdrop to what took place in a seemingly ordinary town.
