To mark the 65th anniversary of the formation of UNICEF, Wanderers FC will be playing a football match against UNICEF UK staff at Corinthian-Casuals FC.

Entry to the game is free and a limited number of programmes will be available to buy, with money raised going to support UNICEF's causes around the world. Food and drink will also be on sale and there will be a raffle to win some money-can't-buy prizes.

UNICEF were formed on the 11th of December 1946 to help the displaced and disadvantaged children affected by the Second World War. Since then, they have grown to become one of the world's most recognisable charities, helping people recover from natural disasters, famine and war all around the globe. They receive no funding from the United Nations but rely wholly on donations.

Wanderers were formed in 1863 as Forest FC. They were founder members of the Football Association and five-time FA Cup winners before folding in 1887. They were reformed in 2009 to raise money for UNICEF, with the support of the descendants of the original founders of the club.
