Eva Caridi is an award winning artist that is proudly hosting, for the first time in the UK, her ‘Nude’ exhibition from January 12 – 22, 2012 at the 14,000 square foot, triple height subterranean space in central London; Ambika P3.

'Nude' is a commentary on the human condition. It is award-winning artist; Eva Caridi's first London exhibition where she shows the soul undressed of the superfluous, the ephemeral and of the constraints and structures imposed by society.

The exhibition is composed of two labyrinths; one is built in a Cretan fashion which has a video installation that merges past, present and future by showing the three stages of life through Caridi’s family (herself, her mother and her young niece). The second is a deconstructed space where an army of life-sized, plaster sculptures of the female form are frozen in various moments in time trying to capture life as it slips from their hands...

It is an intricately constructed, thought-provoking exhibition that engages users to look at themselves in the stark light of reality.
