Baroque Giants: Bach

In this, the first of two concerts with director Laurence Cummings, we celebrate the genius of Bach. Bach’s music combines exquisite craftsmanship with innate drama and emotion, and tonight’s programme showcases some of his most famous pieces, including two suites (No.3 including the Air on a G string) and one of his Brandenburg concertos.

This concert is part of a whole day of events at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the Music Nation weekend.
