FoodCycle Speed-dating and Man Auction!

Oh no it’s Valentine’s Day again! There are couples everywhere (where did they all come from??!! There weren’t so many of them last week??!!).

Well, here at FoodCycle we’re not so sure about Valentine’s Day. Two of the FoodCycle Team broke up with their first ever boyfriend/girlfriend on Valentine’s. We’re still bitter about it…

It’s all going to be OK though. FoodCycle is coming to the rescue. We’re gonna speed date, we’re gonna auction off dates with every single guy that works for FoodCycle (and their friends!) we’re gonna raffle great prizes, -and you’re invited!!!

The first bit of good news is: we’re doing this for charity! You get to go on a date/get drunk/win prizes and it’s actually going to help feed people. The second bit of good news is: it’s not even ON Valentine’s Day! It’s on the 13th February! So if you insist on loving Valentine’s, or have an annual ritual of drinking whisky in your jammies watching Bridget Jones’s Diary and crying, it’s OK, you still can. You just need to come here the day before!*

Speed Dating from 8.00pm:
£5 per person. All proceeds go to FoodCycle. Booking essential, email [email protected] with your name, age and gender.

Man auction from 9.30pm:
You can just rock up to this. All men come with amazing date packages, free dinners/ creative dates - details to be released of each lot in lead up to the event. All proceeds go to FoodCycle.

* and who knows, maybe we can avoid the whole crying/jammies incident altogether!
