'Vivid' Exhibition - Art Reception

Artspace-Galleries London is excited to announce the arrival of “Vivid” exhibition, a joint artistic venture between our established artists such as artist, professionals,and our new brood of talented Interns.

Dreams are a never-ending possibility. The rules of logic do not hold weight. It may be beautiful, inspiring, illogical or threatening. A Dream as an artistic metaphor involves variety of inspirations, means of expressions and styles. It also allows infinity of interpretations.

The theme is inspired from the work of Salvador Dali and Sigmund Freud’s theory of dreams, ‘Vivid’ exhibition takes us on a journey that transforms the human thoughts and desires into surreal visions that we experience through dreams. According to Sigmund Freud dreams are like a train that transport our thoughts from one place to another once we ‘disconnect from reality’ (S.Freud). Depicting scenes of surreal visions and unwanted desires that the human mind creates, interrupting time, place and space of a certain event. The theme of the artwork that we are looking for involves surreal events or scenes that one experience through dreams. It could be real, a fantasy or a desire.
