Mamalu is a night of myth, magic, food, thought, arts, craft and much spoken word. Featuring a range of felicitous entertainments including UK based Pasifikan artist Rosanna Raymond, the freshly fabricated dialogical arts collective SaVAge K’lub and the well travelled and much lauded Samoan performance poet Tusiata Avia. A chance for you to meet and mingle with artists, poets, dancers, prancers, sopranos, fellow philanthropists and assorted 21st century savages in the venerable atmosphere of the Club Room at the October Gallery.
An artist fundraiser, with the emphasis on the FUN, the proceeds from this event will be used to enable Sistar S’pacific to participate in an exhibition of Samoan artists called Ata, in California in April this year
