Xavier Gonzalez d’Egara’s live painting performance

Xavier Gonzalez d’Egara will be performing a live painting at Imitate Modern Gallery.

Born in Terrasa, Barcelona, in 1980, Xavier is a self-taught painter inspired by the work of Antonio Lopez and Antoni Tapies, who he had a close friendship with. In 2004 he moved to Berlin, where he is currently based and takes inspiration from the city’s theatre and industrial underground club scene. His art involves innovative elements such as fire.

The performance will be introduced by Robert Elms and accompanied by music and visuals from Alex Salgado and Henry Brubaker.

There will be an exclusive after-party at The Apothecary at Egg, 200 York Way, London N7 9AX featuring DJ Fra and guests The Three Seasons Okawango Sound until very late.
