Twisted London: Oliver Twist Comics Workshops - Dickens' London

Children aged 8 – 12 are invited to join comics and manga creator Karen Rubins to create their own characters and comic strips, based on Oliver Twist. Explore the world of Victorian London, and what it would be like to be child in Fagin’s gang, as part of the London-wide City Read.

Find out all about what it was like to live in Charles Dickens’ London. Look at examples of comics and cartoons, and create your own comic strip about the funny side of living in the 19th century.
