Banned by the fascist regime in its own country, Portugal, Bernardo Santareno's book has been adapted into a bilingual performance for the first time.

Whatever is Left is the story of Misu, a white portugese girl from a conservative family, who runs away with a black boy, Pedro, from Africa. Surrounded by poverty and drugs, they struggle to deal with race, culture and love.
