Schloss Johannisberg German Wine Dinner

On Wednesday 21 March 2012, the Bingham will host a “fantastisch” four-course dinner in association with 900 year old German winery Schloss Johannisberg. The four course menu will use authentic German ingredients to produce dishes such as: Smoked Eel Risotto, Suckling Pig, Hazelnut Parfait and a selection of cheeses. The menu will also include artisan breads by the local German bakery, Backhaus.

Domaine Manager of the Schloss Johannisberg Estate, Christian Witte, has been working closely with the Bingham to inspire the perfect wine pairings from their centuries old vineyard in Rheingau, Germany. Tickets to the gourmet event are £65 per person, with a £5 donation pledged to the “Hope for Konya” charity.
