A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer is a ground-breaking collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and playwrights, edited by Eve Ensler (author of The Vagina Monologues).

British superstar Thandie Newton is performing Mollie Doyle’s ‘First Kiss’ directed by film director Gurinda Chadha (Bend it Like Beckham.) Hollywood actress Rosario Dawson (Sin City, Seven Pounds) will perform Periel Aschenbrand’s ‘In Memory of Imette.’ Singer-songwriter Neneh Cherry will rap a monologue about Haiti, V-Day's 'spotlight' country this year.

Tony Award winning playwright, performer, and activist Eve Ensler will be performing her monologue, ‘Fur is Back,’ British writer, comedian and actress Meera Syal will be performing as will renowned film producer and actress Trudie Styler, MyAnna Buring (The Twilight Saga, Kill List, The Descent), Richard Strange (The Doctors of Madness), Sarah Solemani (BBC3 Him and Her) and many more.

Directors engaged include Chris Dercon (Director of Tate Modern), Iwona Blazwick (Director of Whitechapel Gallery), Sue Dunderdale (Director of RADA), performance artist Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich, director Anna Ledwich, theatre director Tamara Harvey and film writer and director Marcus Warren.

100% of the proceeds go to charities Women for Women International, V-Day and Domestic Violence Intervention Project to aid women and girls affected by war and violence. All proceeds from every ticket sold will be tripled by Goldman Sachs Gives and The Millby Trust. Join us as we send a call to the world to end violence against women.
