N1 Easter Zoo

This Easter, the N1 Shopping Centre in Islington has teamed up with Zoofari, the UK’s biggest mobile zoo, to stage the N1 Easter Zoo. Children of all ages will be offered the chance meet a range of exotic animals at the N1 Centre from Monday 2nd – Wednesday 4th April between 11am -3pm.

Following on from the huge success of last year’s N1 Easter farm, this year’s event welcomes a wild twist to the traditional seasonal farm, as the N1 Centre brings an array of exotic animals to Islington’s number one shopping centre.

Several of the animals appearing at the N1 Easter Zoo cannot be found in many UK zoos. Children will have the opportunity to pet Slender Tailed Meerkats, Asian Raccoon Dogs, de-scented Striped Skunks and Chinchillas. Other animals present include: Giant Tortoises and Wallabies. In addition to meeting the animals, wildlife experts will be on hand to talk to visitors throughout the day and answer any questions.

Zoofari is a mobile zoo bringing the animals to you, with fun and educational visits. Zoofari is a highly ethical organisation and many of the animals in their care have been rescued. Zoofari also run a wildlife reserve in Belize, Central America where each booking is offset by planting and preserving a tree through the sister organisation Fund a Forest. A percentage from each Mobile Zoo booking also sponsors the education of five children, who live within their wildlife reserve in Belize.

This year we wanted to offer something unique and give children the opportunity to meet animals they are unlikely to meet under normal circumstances. Zoofari is a fantastic organisation and we are happy to support the brilliant work they do. We would like to encourage as many families as possible to come along and enjoy the N1 Easter Zoo.”
