Who is this course aimed at?
This course has been written and delivered by Hellen Beveridge and is focused on delivering strategies specifically targeted at the professional events industry that will enable participants to create and deliver effective communications via a well planned social media strategy.

Learning outcomes
1. Understand the need to set clear business goals which will drive your social media strategy and against which you can measure the results, establishing KPI and ROI benchmarks that will determine what success looks like for your organisation.

2. Be able to understand what the different aspects of social media can realistically do and what the logistical implications are for your organisation.

3. Have a clear understanding of what you can expect from a social media strategy and the resources that will be required to deliver it.

4. Have a clear understanding of your audience and their behaviour in order to write a communications plan that includes a clear content strategy.

5. Understand the importance of brand ownership and how this changes in an environment where customers believe they are the proprietors.
