Butlers Wharf Chop House, D&D London’s proudly British restaurant on the River Thames, is to host a new supper club night. The first of this series of evenings, to be held on April 24th, 2012, will start with a wonderfully celebratory springtime menu created by the Chop House’s head chef Martin Kroon.
On the menu will be a whole roasted spring lamb, carved at the table and served with morel sauce, Jersey Royals and minted peas – what could be more seasonal than that? Martin will be there to talk about the superb new season’s lamb that he uses at the Chop House, and the restaurant’s sommelier will talk guests through the specific wine he has chosen to accompany the lamb. The events are designed for passionate individuals who care about the food they eat, but want to discover more about it in a relaxed and convivial setting while meeting new people.
The Supper Club at the Chop House begins at 6.30pm, with a pre-dinner drink and an introduction to the supper club concept and the idea behind such social dining events. Tickets for the evening, including a three-course meal are now available at £45 per person.
