Hollywood Boogie presents Big Swing Dance Night with South London Jazz Orchestra

Hollywood Boogie specialise in promoting vintage dance events in South London and the home counties. The first Saturday of the month is at the Royston Club in Penge which is steeped in dance history and has the most amazing and spacious wood sprung floor.

May sees us hosting our new resident orchestra, the South London Jazz Orchestra who will be playing great dance tunes from jazz to big band classics and everything in between. It is not often these days you get a full size orchestra to dance to. This will be just like back in days gone by.

Whether you are a dancer or not, there is plenty of room to sit and watch or rest between dances. The venue has social club prices at the bar and we pride ourselves in running one of the friendliest clubs in London. At Hollywood Boogie we say there is no such thing as a stranger, just new friends we are yet to meet.

This event attracts dancers from all over the South East to dance and socialise. SO whether you want to cut some moves on our spacious dance floor or just watch them cut the rug, this is the place for you.

Our Host and Resident DJ Pat da Kat will be on hand to play hot tunes to keep your feet tapping all through the night.
