DJ Kobayashi & Herbert Newbert, the chaps behind Gypsy Hill, bring you another raucous night of balkan brass mayhem on the banks of Camden Lock. Twisted Gypsy has a vibe like nowhere else.

DJ Kobayashi is a regular DJ on the Gypsy scene around London, in productions such as Stranger than Paradise, Balkan Beats London Dimba Presents and is fresh off the back of supporting the legendary Balkan Beat Box in Rome.
 Herbert Newbert is a producer/DJ and founder of world music act Native Horizon which mixes flamenco, folk, African and Arabic influences into a melting pot of groovy beats.
Their collaborative work includes remixes from different artist such as; Fanfare Ciocarlia, Besh o Drom, Kocani Orkestar, Boom Pam, Al Jawala and more as well as their own original material.”
Last year Gypsy Hill played at some of the UK’s biggest summer festivals such as: Glastonbury, Guardian Hay-On-Wye, The Big Chill, Farm Fest, Reading/Leeds and Bestival. In a busy summer Gypsy Hill also travelled to Colora Festival in Belgium and Festival Kumpania in France, Germany – with more European dates planned for 2012!!
