The Great British Cucumber Festival

Lea Valley Growers and Waltham Abbey Town Partnership present a food festival and family fun day.

Event is held on National Cucumber Day to celebrate the Lea Valley cucumber to raise awareness of our local salad industry, to raise funds for local charities and to give everyone a great day out.

Auction, Tombola & Competitions
Cooking demonstrations
The second ever Cucumber Relay Race
And of course lots of food - not just cucumbers!

Proud to announce the event will be opened at 10.00am by actress and comic Hattie Hayridge, best known for her role as Holly in "Red Dwarf" whose father and both grandfathers worked in the cucumber industry.
