Chamber Opera Gala Dinner

St James restaurant Quaglino’s has teamed up with chamber opera company Opera A La Carte to launch a series of opera gala and dinner evenings. These dinners with a difference will see guests welcomed with a glass of champagne and then treated to a selection of opera arias performed by singers from Opera A La Carte and accompanied by Music Director Susanna Stranders, a former Royal Opera House Young Artist.

Guests will then sit down to a three course dinner including tempting dishes such as traditional gravadlax with sweet mustard and dill potatoes and breast of chicken with wild mushroom, sweet corn and potato gnocchi ragout. The dinner will be interspersed with more operatic interludes between courses, and Opera A La Carte director Nicholas Heath will also talk guests through the upcoming highlights of their 2012 season.
