PLAY ON is a brand new live music event presenting sounds from an eclectic mix of talented acts, taking place on the last Tuesday of each month at Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany.

PLAY ON present RAFF & The Remedies who will showcase their addictive brand of funk, soul and pop. Special guest SHARLENE HECTOR will appear alongside Raff & The Remedies: a soul songstress who has worked with the likes of Basement Jaxx, Mark Ronson, Boy George and Alicia Keys.

This exciting line up of acts is complemented by a great drinks menu with a fantastic selection of beers, real ales and cocktails and of course the renowned dinner and bar snack menus, creating a perfect setting to unwind after a hectic day.

About York & Albany: Nestled between the buzz of Camden and the tranquility of Regent’s Park, York and Albany is a ten bedroom townhouse, dining room and bar. This majestic John Nash building dates to the 1820s and was originally a coaching inn. York & Albany offers a lifestyle experience with food at its heart and in surroundings that capture the elegance of the Regency period. The renovation of the interior of the building has been overseen by acclaimed designer Russell Sage who specialises in working with both antique and contemporary finishes. The marrying of the two is visible with his use of traditional British fabrics and modern design elements.

About Raff: Raff was seduced by the world of soul music that he discovered on a free mixtape he got with a pair of jeans. Since then he's performed, been featured on podcasts and heard on radio shows all over the World. He features on the Playstation series Grand Theft Auto with a slick slice of soothing soul, with an energetic funk and pop edge.

About Sharlene Hector: Sharlene Hector is a singer/songwriter, born and raised in Slough, currently living in North London. During her 12 year career, she has worked with Basement Jaxx, Alicia Keys, Tinie Tempah, Mark Ronson, Mel C, Corinne Bailey-Rae, Pixie Lott, Boy George & Culture Club, Bobby McFerrin, Roy Ayers, Natasha Bedingfield, Ty, Miss Dynamite and Sam Sparro, to name a few. She is also part of The Soul Family Sunday band where she performs alongside Natalie Williams once a month at Ronnie Scott's.
