Try It! Birkbeck in your commUNIty

This is an opportunity to find out what it is that modern languages students do alongside learning a language. We will explore what it means to engage with the culture of another language-speaking area, investigating the relationship between cultural artefacts and the contexts in which they were produced and doing some hands-on analysis of a cultural 'text'. In the second part of the session, we will provide some information on the different programmes with a language component that we offer.

To celebrate Adult Learners’ Week 12th -18th May, Birkbeck are hosting a series of free information, advice & guidance sessions together with debates, performances, workshops and lectures at Cambridge House in Camberwell. Come for the whole day or just drop in.
