Olivier Hölzl / Linda Krefft / Nicole Prutsch
As a philosophical interpretation of the Trompe-l'oeil, the "interpassive Praxis" (Robert Pfaller) describes the practice of delegating feelings and behaviours on to external objects, persons or things.
This represents a subtle form of escapism from anxiety raised by the confrontation with one’s own pleasure.
Artists from London, Hamburg and Vienna come together to explore the interplay between reality and deception, through an exhibition that processes contemporary perceptions of pleasurable sensation.
Trompe-l'oeil / interpassive.
