Stop the War Coalition is very pleased to announce a special evening of words and music on 25th May featuring some of the biggest names in theatre and music.

The evening is themed 'Don't Iraq Iran' and features actor-of-the-moment Mark Rylance, star of the sell-out show Jerusalem in 2011, the great musical experimentalist Brian Eno, Iranian filmmaker Amir Amirani, montage artists Peter Kennard and Cat Phillips, and actor Kika Markham, the play Tony Kushner wrote specially for her and was dubbed 'The most remarkable play in a decade' by the New York Observer.

There will be piano music from Alberto Portugheis, songs from the 60's superstar Julie Felix and a special appearance from Roger Lloyd Pack.

The evening begins with a performance of 'The Writing on the Wall' with Tony Benn and Roy Bailey - the history of British radicalism that has sold out theatres up and down the country.

The event is being held at St James Piccadilly, St James’s Church 197 Piccadilly, London W1J 9LL, at 7.30pm on 25th May.

You are advised to book soon to avoid disappointment.
