Flipside Youth Film Festival

The 4th Flipside Youth Film Festival is an annual showcase of short films under 10 minutes made by Young People aged 10 to 25 from across London. The festival is managed by Youth Animation and Media and funded by the Big Lottery's Young Peoples Fund. Film submissions are free, accepted all year round and winning shorts are screened in front of a general audience at major venues such as the BFI Southbank, The Horse Hospital, Shortwave Cinema, Whirled Cinema and the Ritzy Brixton throughout May and June. 

The Flipside Youth Film Festival is planned, programmed and delivered by a team of 25 dedicated volunteers aged 15 to 25 who are recruited anew each year. This Youth Committee Team benefit from training workshops and "Meet The Experts" talks at B3 Media studios in Brixton as well as regular cinema outings and hands on filmmaking activities.
