Rising Spanish soprano Sylvia Schwartz makes her Rosenblatt Recital debut in the final Rosenblatt Recital of the season on 20 June.

A principal for the Vienna State Opera and a regular choice with the world’s leading conductors, she has earned critical acclaim for roles in Le Nozze di Figaro, L’Elisir d’amore, and Die Zauberflöte.

“Sylvia Schwartz was the star among a stellar cast. Vocally, visually and dramatically.” - San Francisco Chronicle

She comes to Rosenblatt Recitals with a diverse programme including arias from Handel’s Giulio Cesare and Bellini’s La sonnambula alongside lesser known works by Spanish composers Pablo Luna and Jesus Guridi. Simon Lepper accompanies her at the piano.
