This Father’s Day, Sunday June 17th, treat Dad to an afternoon of whisky tasting with cheese pairings at The Forge on Delancey Street, Camden.

Whisky expert and CEO of the London Distillery Company, Darren Rook, will lead this educational workshop session at The Forge exploring the exciting combination of the most prized and complex spirit, single malt whisky and cheeses sourced from all over the world.

The traditional Port and Stilton combo could soon be a thing of the past with this latest trend of pairing fine single malts with distinctive cheeses and although this is a relatively new pairing, when chosen correctly, particular types of cheeses harmonize perfectly with whisky. Both have a similar production process as are fermented and, with the exception of cream cheese, are aged for a certain period of time.

During the session, guests will discover all about this irresistible pairing, guided through a sensory experience of aroma, taste and flavour. Guests will learn how to best match whisky with various cheeses.
