In Jubilee year The Doctor’s Orders celebrate the huge role that the fairer sex have played in creating the greatest art form of the 20th Century with the ‘Queens of Hip-Hop’, featuring an all female line up of the finest DJ talent this country has to offer. Following in the footsteps of Roxanne Shante, Missy Elliot and Nicky Minaj are some of London’s best party rocking DJs who just happen to carry two X chromosomes.
The brilliant Alice Moxie is one of the busiest DJs in the city. As a resident and co-promoter of Deviation alongside Benji B she is making tidal waves on the scene that have seen her spin at Glastonbury, on Kiss FM and around the world.
Josey Rebelle is the first lady of underground radio with her weekly Rinse FM show showing she’s as versatile as she is talented. Tonight she focuses her eclectic tastes to concentrate on the 80’s & 90’s Hip-Hop that she loves so well.
Through her ‘Rock The Belles’ party Emily Rawson has done more than most to push the boundaries for the ladies of the capital’s Hip-Hop scene. She will be showing off the skills that have helped the popularity of these events in the last couple years while getting the whole thing warmed up is the rising star that is Chery Ice showing that anything guys can do girls can do better so come down and show some love!
