Contemporary artist Carrie Reichardt has created a range of Jubilee-inspired artwork entitled ‘Mad in England’. This is an exhibition for anyone harbouring a radical streak, who doesn’t take the royal family too seriously and enjoys the freedom to share an alternative view. Along with original subservice souvenirs created by the artist, the exhibition contains a large collection of real memorabilia from previous Jubilees, the Coronation and variuos royal shenanigans.

Carrie’s work uses craft and art as protest. The provocative exhibition looks to unite the people of Britain in a celebration of an alternative view. Sticking a tongue out at authority is as British as the establishment itself. Join the rebels for a fresh gibe on the jubilee.
