Ten million people in the UK suffer from a neurological disorder, either from birth, through injury, or a slowly developing illness that occurs later in life.
The National Brain Appeal is the charity dedicated to raising essential funds for The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London. The National is one of the world’s leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with a wide range of neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis (MS), brain cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease and head injury.
This London half marathon is probably the most scenic in the world passing through four of London’s amazing Royal parks- Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park and St James Park.
All we ask is that runners pledge to raise at least £400.00. Contact us to book your place on 0203 448 4724 or email [email protected].
The National Brain Appeal is incredibly grateful to all our supporters for their time and effort in raising much needed funds for our vital work. In return all our incredible runners can expect to receive the following to help ensure training and fundraising goals are reached.
* Fundraising pack with handy tips and advice.
* Regular support by email and phone.
* Fundraising materials to help you with your training.
* Team running vest which we hope you will wear on the day of the race.
* Training Plans from Runners World.
