Decanter is opening its doors to the public for the first time this June to taste award winning wines.

The Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) is the biggest global wine competition. This year, a panel of over 200 international experts tasted their way through 14,119 wines. The wines were then whittled down to the very best in their respective regions and price brackets, and the best were awarded medals or trophies. The competition has been organised every year since 2004 by Decanter, the UK’s most widely-read consumer wine magazine, but this is the first year that the magazine is opening its offices to the public to come and taste the winning wines.

The judging took place at the end of April, and the results were announced on 22nd May. A large selection of DWWA-winning wines will be available to taste at the Awards Tasting Evening. For a list of wines that will be showcased at this event please contact [email protected] directly.
