James Morrison, the phenomenal multi-instrumentalist and self-confessed car nut (previous presenter of Top Gear Australia), joins London Brass for a concert showcasing the ultimate in virtuoso brass playing.

The programme is designed to show off the virtuosic skills of each player and demonstrate the versatility of all the brass instruments. Works includes arrangements of Chick Corea's Spain and Lutoslawski's Variations on a theme by Paganini and an impressive showcase of jazz tunes.

James Morrison's career began aged 16 with a performance at the Monterey Jazz Festival and he has since played with jazz legends Dizzy Gillespie, B.B. King and Ray Charles to name but a few.

The players in London Brass are the best in their field and name among them principal horn of the Royal Opera House, principal trumpet with the Halle Orchestra, principal trombone of the Philharmonia Orchestra and have, between them, recorded on countless film soundtracks and toured with the likes of Tina Turner, Sting, Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Tom Jones and many others.
