Lemar hit rose to fame 2002 as a contestant in the inaugural talent quest and reality television show Fame Academy where he finished 3rd. Lemar was one of the few contestants to establish themselves as a legitimate star achieving seven top ten UK singles and selling over two million albums over the past decade.
