Gigwise are proud to announce the launch of its new monthly club night on the 4th July 2012 (1st Wednesday of every month) at Proud Galleries Camden.

Hotly tipped headliners TOY are set to blow the house apart with their sonic twitches and murderous 60’s garage-scapes. Toy have already released their infective second single ‘Motoring’ which follows their debut 12” only double A-side release, ‘Left Myself Behind’ and ‘Clock Chime’, which is now on its 4th pressing. They have also supported The Horrors at the end of 2011 and have recently completed a sold-out residency at The Shackwell Arms in London.

Support will come from Brighton’s Black black Hills, an inventive example of a band self aware and assured enough to balance their inspired creativity with shameless pop swagger. Expect Nick Cave-esque story telling and new wave nuances against the back of angular guitar. Recent single ‘A Drowning’ was recently selected for BBC radio ones unsigned playlist.

Gigwise are also be inviting very special guest DJs to spin into the evening.
