A Band Of Buriers present their brand new album, FILTH, at an exclusive launch at the RADA Studio Theatre - introduced by a special guest host.
'I can and I will, despair at the filth to be found even in love.'
Following a year touring Europe and performing all over the UK, A Band Of Buriers bring their debut studio album 'Filth' to the RADA Studios. Their melodic blend of acoustic guitar with cello and violin combined with a beautiful female backing choir and abstract and poetic lyrics, result in grand songs fractured with a fragile beauty and a unique evening of folk music, performance poetry and the alternative.
Performance time: 1 hour
‘A Band Of Buriers concoct a curious, bewitching broth which moans with mournful strings and minor-chord guitars. what’s so outstanding about their music is James P Honey’s vocal delivery: steeped in ‘alternative-rap’ culture and with a firm belief in blending genres.‘ Rough Trade
‘Ones to watch 2012.’ Livemusic fm
‘Like a modern-day Leonard Cohen, A Band of Buriers offer a pick ‘n’ mix bag of tricks: epic, cello-accompanied spoken word; intense, ukulele-laced folk; a troupe of backing singers ever dressed in white; and a Ronnie Scott’s residency.’ Volume Magazine
