Late Night Opening

Our Late Night Opening is a rare opportunity for you to experience the scenery and wildlife at the Centre at dusk. Leave the stresses of the day behind with a tranquil walk in Wildside. The native ducks, swans and geese will be settling down for the evening but you might still hear the ‘plop’ of a water vole as he dives into the water or catch the last few dragonflies as they flit across the ponds. You may even catch a glimpse of a bat out to catch an early dinner!

You can also visit the beautiful, exotic collection of ducks and swans in World Wetlands, or stroll out through the sustainable gardens to the Sheltered Lagoon.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to relax in our cafe or on the terrace with a BBQ meal, a glass of wine or just to catch up with friends over a coffee.

And, of course, as the sun begins to set the soft evening light is the perfect time to capture stunning photographs
