Get 'Closer to Food'

Closer to Food is a brand new food festival where professional chefs and amateur cooks alike can enjoy a gastronomic experience like none other. Headlining the action will be renowned restauranteur and celebrity chef, Ed Baines.

Closer to Food celebrates quality produce and artisan cookery, with plenty to sample, buy and make. The Great Taste Market will feature a wide variety of locally sourced, organic and specialty delicacies, as well as a cupcake decorating competition to get the whole family involved.

The main hub of the event is The Cookery Theatre, where practical demonstrations and masterclasses will help people to get ‘Closer to Food’. Here, on August 12th, Britain’s Best Dish judge Ed Baines will be sharing a wealth of expertise from his time at some of the world’s finest restaurants.

The eclectic mix of local and regional brands mean that there’s something there for everyone, and a range of promotions, discounts and deals will ensure people receive premium products with an affordable price tag.
