Ten million people in the UK suffer from a neurological disorder, either from birth, through injury, or a slowly developing illness that occurs later in life.

The National Brain Appeal is the charity dedicated to raising essential funds for The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London. The National is one of the world’s leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with a wide range of neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis (MS), brain cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease and head injury.

We have places in two half marathons in October: The Royal Parks Half Marathon (7 Oct) and Run to the Beat (28 October).

Royal Parks is one of the most scenic city runs in the world, with a beautiful 13.1 mile autumnal route through four of London’s magnificent Royal Parks and past some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks.

Run to the Beat is a London half marathon with a difference featuring 11 stages dotted along the route (starting and ending at the O2) with both live and recorded motivational music taken from the four most popular genres- rock, pop, dance and urban- giving the event its own unique atmosphere.
