The Flaming City

On this walk you will see where The Great Fire of London started in Pudding Lane and walk through the streets to find out how
4/5ths of London was destroyed. Samuel Pepys, the diarist, described the Great Fire in his diary. This walk also includes
a visit to St Olave's Church, (Church Services permitting). Inside this Medieval Church are four swordrests, a 17th century Wren pulpit and a plaque which marks the site of the doorway that led to the gallery into the Navy Office where Samuel Pepys worked.
