Eid Festival

To mark the end of Ramadan and the holy month of fasting, the Mayor of London has teamed up with London Mela to produce an Eid celebration stage at one of the city’s biggest free festivals. This event-within-an-event will celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, also due to fall on or around 19 August.

The Eid stage at London Mela will host drumming workshops, theatre, fashion, art, poetry, music, DJs and more from across the Muslim world. It is an event that will be sure to delight Muslims from every background, as well as Londoners as a whole.

Performers include Poetic Pilgrimage, U-Cef, Celt Islam, Shafeek Ibrahim, Abdullah Chhadeh and Nara, Cheb Nacim.
