Celebrating 100 Soul, Funk, Northern, Latin & 50’s/60’s R&B fuelled nights that have featured the cream of the scene's crop from the UK to the USA.

To mark this special occasion we'll be showcasing many of your favourite bands, DJs and artists who have graced the spot stages over the years.

CORRINA GREYSON

The lady behind G-Spot Events (Miss G) has been called the UK's leading funky soul spokeslady. She has been providing a platform for some of the best new and emerging talent on scene from all over Europe and the USA for almost 10 years.
Corrina is also regarded by many of her peers as one of the best female soul vocalists in the UK.
She has shared stages with Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, recorded and toured with JTQ, Lefties Soul Connection, The New Mastersounds and many more.

IAN SIEGAL

“One of the most gifted singers and songwriters in contemporary blues” MOJO

When Ian Siegal received the accolade of MOJO Blues Album of The Year (’09) for his Broadside album, it was the first time for a non-American artist; and when his 2011 album The Skinny was nominated for a Blues Music Award in the contemporary album category, it was the first time ever for a British artist in this category. The Blues Music Awards – made annually in Memphis TN – are the blues grammys.

“Awash with wit, lust and distraction…one of the most inventive Blues recordings ever made by a British artist.” MOJO

THE FANTASTICS feat SULENE FLEMMING

Never comfortable within tightly defined and rigid musical genres, The Fantastics! have always been pushing the boundaries and honing their eclectic style. ‘All The People’ (Their latest album) sees this talented bunch dip their toes into a pool of soul-jazz, blues, latin, rock, ska, funk & fusion, laced with a distinctly progressive edge, performed with superb musicianship and a voice that thrills!

NEW STREET ADVENTURE

With the upcoming release of their EP, “Say it like you mean it” on their own label, ‘Unmasked Recordings’, New Street Adventure represent a welcome return for classic British song writing. Given their influences, largely from the 60s and 70s, this is a modern and refreshing take on what soul music can be to a new generation.

“Bands don’t come more exciting and fresh out of the box than new street adventure” – Blues & Soul

“Definitely having that!” Gary Crowley BBC London
