STEVENSON AND GOODMAN DUET AGAIN
Two of the theatre’s brightest stars are set to be reunited for a programme of music and readings chronicling the highly-charged love triangle between Robert and Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms,
Juliet Stevenson and Henry Goodman, who achieved critical acclaim in Tom Kempinski’s Duet For One, will perform Beloved Clara on November 8 at St Paul’s church, Knightsbridge, London, at 7.30pm.
Lucy Parham, one of the country’s foremost classical pianists, plays music by all three musicians during the programme, interspersed with extracts from their letters and diaries.
The concert will raise money for the charity LAM Action that supports women with the lung disease lymphangiomyomatosis. Tickets £25. To book visit: www.belovedclara.eventbrite.co.uk.
