The London Series

‘Red is the colour of London, the man who knows about London, said.’

An evocative and irreverent look back at a life lived in the city by a country girl. Part memoir, part homage, the piece touches on different areas and different perspectives – history, literature and love, included.

The Jehane Markham Trio - or jmt – is one poet and two jazz musicians creating something unique together. The text comes first, inspiring the musicians to new depths of feeling in their playing and composition.

Jehane Markham - Poet and lyricist
