Join artist Lesley Halliwell for an afternoon of drop-in drawing activities to celebrate her work, which is part of the exhibition 'Beauty is the First Test". Lesley creates large works on paper using Spirographs (as seen on TV with James May).

Explore the magic of these drawing tools and make your own designs into badges to wear. As well as regular sized Spirographs to play with, we will be using giant ones (made from bicycle parts) to make a huge group drawing on the gallery piazza. This is especially suitable for children. This is a unique opportunity to meet an exhibiting artist; learning exciting and vibrant drawing techniques; and working together, creating a large temporary artwork. (If the weather is bad, the giant drawing will be made inside the gallery instead.)

FREE, drop-in event, no booking required.
