Visceral, imaginative, poignant exploration of the effects of contemporary warfare on young minds

A naïve American journalist is thrown into the confusion of the Iraqi conflict with a combat unit of US Marines resulting in a series of situations as destructive as they are darkly funny. He returns home but finds he is addicted to the heady mixture of new found camaraderie and the thrills of warfare. He returns to Fallujah on the eve of its destruction.

Evan Sanderson was inspired to write Fallujah by reading an article in Rolling Stone Magazine where it was stated that “The death toll from inadequate mental health care may exceed the combat death toll in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

Fallujah has won the David Mark Cohen National Playwriting Award and The Quest for Peace Award.
Evan Sanderson will be in the UK to participate in a question and answer session with the audience on Thursday 29 November.

Liminal Space was founded by Prav MJ to develop and stage the work of new contemporary playwrights whose work has never been performed in the UK that will inspire and challenge audiences.

Fallujah was originally developed through the 'Boston University New Play Initiative'
Liminal Space is very pleased to be presenting the European premiere of Fallujah.

Tickets cost £15 on the door. Book now online or on the phone (020 7258 2925, Mon-Sat, 12-6pm) to get them for £12 each!
