Vibes and Pressure presents, Vibes and Pressure Sunrise, our new monthly event which takes place Every Third Thursday of the month at The Flyover in Ladbroke Grove.

Vibes and Pressure Sunrise is our new trendy event which is not only going to offer the best in unsigned and signed musicians but that will raise the roof at the Flyover way past Sunset. Thursday is definitely the New Friday!! This is one event not to be missed, Doors open at 6pm Sharpish...


Natty

Change wont come in a day" sings Natty on his song 'Change'. The singer from North London has long since swapped his hood for dreadlocks and possesses a thoughtful take, on what it is to be young in the inner city today. Using sounds from around the world, he sums up modern Britain with soulful accuracy.


Zen Elephant

Internationally acclaimed Zen Elephant have been described as "the worthy heirs of the Bristol folk scene". An original take on the genre steers their sound away from any obvious comparisons to other bands.

Having come from different musical backgrounds, the 5 members each bring their own influences to the mix. Taking in the traditional sound of their home country, they also carry an Americana twist and hints of Swing.

After forming in 2008 as a quartet, Zen Elephant found themselves heavily involved in the UK festival scene. With performances at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Green Man, Shambala and many more, they have since asserted themselves as a mainstay on this circuit. They have also broken into the European folk and festival scene, having toured in Germany, Holland and France so far this year.

Betty Steeles

A small introduction to the girl known as Betty Steeles... Her music is in essence ‘friendly pop’ comprising of songs that approach without fear, prejudice or pretense. It is unashamedly melodic that is both fresh and catchy but also at times slightly odd and kooky. It simply wants to make your acquaintance and get to know you and as such possesses a childlike innocence,

Majical has blessed the Vibes and Pressure stage many a time and we still cant get enough, You love him, We love him, what more could we ask for. Majical has played alongside Natty and featured in his videos but his Music speaks for itself!! Come and see what all the fuss is about....

I've hosted and organised many events including Hub RPM, which takes overarching themes like consumption, revolution etc and we use film, discussion and music to give a little food for thought and entertain.

I've run and hosted open mic nights and atrist showcases for unsigned talent. I write blogs for the Vibes and Pressure blogsite as well as for Silentflute. I also mentor.

I believe that you dont have 2 tell people what that need to know, but rather inspire them to seek knowledge.
