Facing Africa - Noma are holding a live auction and a web auction to raise funds to enable teams of top facial reconstruction surgeons to rebuild the severely disfigured faces of children and adults suffering from the Noma disease in Africa. A team of British surgeons will be travelling to Ethiopia in October as part of the project.

Bidders will have a rare opportunity to view and buy original artwork by some of Britain's foremost artists and photographers, at the beautiful historic building kindly provided the Royal College of Surgeon's. Items for sale include: Boxing glove signed by Team GB boxing team, John Piper lithograph (1936), Axl Sheffler (of 'The Gruffaloe' fame) illustration, Bruce Weber (iconic photograph of Georgia O'Keefe), wood engraving by Bloomsbury's Gwen Raverat, photophraph by David Sims, Tom Adam's cover for Agatha Christie's 'Sparkling Cyanide'.
